We should do a golf podcast.
Sorry. I have a non-compete clause. *sniff*

I see golf as being in a lowly state like it was in the late 8-s. They have so many vanilla white-belt wearing goobers. None of these people are a tv draw.

Measuring how far a ball is from the center of the fairway might be a better yardstick but its not that great either. Many times (in fact, almost every time) a pro golfer isn't trying to put the ball in the middle. He's trying to go for one side of the fairway or the other to give him a better angle to the green, take a hazard out of play, fit a shot shape for his next shot, clear a dogleg, etc.

People actually "aim" in golf? I just point mehself in the general direction of where the ball should go, grip, rip, cuss and then hunt for meh ball and the beer cart.

I always aim at a target. My swing thought usually goes like this: (i'm a lefty) "Okay, I've hit a big fade on the last three holes, better aim a little bit right. Hey, that warm up swing felt a lot better. I don't think I was coming through the ball enough. Of course, you idiot. That's it! One more practice swing...... Oh, yeah, I feel it and for sure won't slice it now. But what if I overcook it and hook the ball? Nah, I've got it back. I'm probably going to at least draw it a little. I better aim down the left tree line and play for the draw." Then I hit the same big ass fade off into the woods that goes twice as far off line because I was playing for the draw. Then I don't know what the hell to do on the next tee box. Then I vow to either practice more or quit the game all together and never do either.

Nationwide Northern Trust Open had a total of 30,000 show up the entire week...Nelson pulls in more in one day.
That. Is. Not. Good.
Of course, the idiots there charged a $20 premium per ticket. Bet the sponsors were overjoyed with the "gallery." (cue crickets)
Tiger needs to hurry back. Huge. Quickly. Bye.
